I recently returned from a whirlwind 3 week trip home to England. Although my plans were altered due to unforeseen circumstances, we still managed to take a mini break to St. Ives for a few days. It’s always a joy to make discoveries about your home country, and having not visited Cornwall since my childhood, I was quite taken with the sights and sounds of this charismatic seaside town. We were blessed with near perfect weather and every nook was photogenic. Never close the door on your own soil for a holiday destination, you’ll almost always be pleasantly surprised.
When times get tough, it’s important to find joy and relaxation in the little things in life (and lots of Cornish fudge) 🙂
